Teenage boy, 15, killed riding toy hoverboard after being hit by bus

A TEENAGE boy has died after being hit by a bus whilst riding a toy hoverboard.
The tragic 15-year-old was killed after being struck by the vehicle in Alperton, west London, last night.

Police officers arrived to find the boy seriously injured.
Paramedics battled to save his life but the teenager later died at the scene.

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "Officers attended and a 15-year-old boy was found seruiously injured at the location.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Next of kin have been informed."
Local councillor James Denselow confirmed the boy was on a hoverboard - also known as a toy segway - when the tragedy unfolded.
He said: "Sad to hear about the death of a 15-year-old boy in Alperton last night who collided with a bus whilst riding a hoverboard."
Toy hoverboards - which cost up to £600 - are a cross between a Segway and a skateboard.
The tragic incident took place at 6.30pm last night.
