At least one dead in New Jersey house explosion

BREAKING -- At least one person was killed and several others were injured in an explosion at a New Jersey house on Wednesday morning.
Several people were pulled from the rubble and more than a dozen residents were displaced, FOX5 reported. Three people had been flown to hospitals, Mayor Chris Bollwage said.

A preliminary investigation found no indication the blast was gas-related, an Elizabethtown Gas spokesman told NBC4.
The explosion occurred just after 8 a.m. on the second floor of the house in Elizabeth.
Elizabeth fire officials asked news crews to move three helicopters around 9:25 a.m. so emergency crews could conduct a silent search for more victims, according to NJ.com.
"It sounded like a plane crash and I thought it was because we are so close to the airport," neighbor Kayon Pryce told NJ.com.
The house where the explosion occurred is a two-family unit with an apartment in the garage, according to Pryce.
