Amazing mum finishes university exam while giving birth

Tommitrise Collins completing her university exam whilst in labour

An American woman has become a social media hero after completing her online psychology exam while in labour.
Twenty-one-year old Tommitrise Collins was in a hospital in Georgia and about to give birth when she realised she needed to take the test that day.
Instead of postponing the exam, Collins ignored her contractions and managed to complete it. A few hours later she delivered a healthy baby girl name Tyler Elise.
She told Fox 5: “It took me four to five hours after opening the test to try and put the pain to the side and do it, so I wouldn’t have to do it later and could enjoy my newborn.”
Collins finished the exam in under two hours and received a B grade.
Her sister Shannell Brinkely Chapman, posted a photo of Collins doing the test on her laptop during labour onto Facebookwith the caption: “This is what you call ‘strong priorities’.
“Contractions three minutes apart and still takes her psychology test! You are going to be a great mom baby sis.”
The picture has had more than 15,000 shares since it was posted on November 12.
After 20 hours of labour, Collins eventually gave birth to a baby girl called Tyler Elise.
“She will always have me to depend on so my goals will not be put on hold,” Collins told Fox 5.
“I want my child to live comfortably.”
